Disney Magic Stateroom 2512

We recently went on the Disney Magic for a 5-Night Caribbean Very Merrytime Christmas Cruise from Miami.  We stayed in stateroom 2512, which is a Category 9C Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom.  It is located on the forward (front) starboard (right)  side of the ship on Deck 2, in front of the forward elevators.   We had never stayed forward on Deck 2 before, but we really liked it.  The forward elevators are very rarely busy and it was easy to get to almost everything.

Here are our pictures of the room!  I’ll start with the door.  I kind of decorated it.  A lot.  I make magnets with pictures from some of our previous cruises.  I also decided to add battery operated Christmas lights.  They seemed to be a big hit as we always saw people stop and look at the door.

The cabin layout is the same as the other 9C staterooms that we’ve stayed in.  There is a bed that folds down from the ceiling and the couch converts to a bed.  My older daughter indicated that the couch bed wasn’t that comfortable, but she was willing to live with it since she was on a cruise.  We brought along a mini Christmas tree and additional battery-operated lights to make the room more festive.  You can actually purchase holiday decorations from DCL that will be waiting in your stateroom when you arrive — we have friends that ordered a small tree and Mickey-themed stockings on a prior Christmas cruise.

Here is a view of Castaway Cay from the window.  I’m really sorry for the glare.
