Sea Day
Sea Day

Today was our last sea day on our cruise.  We still hand one more day at Castaway Cay, but today was a day for relaxing.  We started the day off very late with breakfast at Cabanas.  After we ate, the girls went off to their clubs.  Nancy and I headed up to Satellite Falls to read and relax.  We were treated to a nice rainbow off in the distance! read more

Disney Cruise Line describes Remy as “an adult-exclusive restaurant serving fine French fare”. Remy is found on both the Fantasy and the Dream.  It serves a dinner and champagne brunch.  We have done the dinner a total of three times while on board various sailings on the Disney Fantasy.  You can check in on Deck 12 Aft at the desk located between Remy and Palo.  You will be seated in the Meridian Bar after checking in at the desk until your table is ready. read more

Another fun day at sea was on the horizon, except I was super tired.  I had taken some Dramamine the night before because I was feeling under the weather.  Well, probably because of the Mixology class and not really anything else.  Dramamine makes me really, really sleepy for a long period of time.  I spent a good part of the morning sleeping in various location around the ship.  I slept some up in Satellite Falls and some near the adult pool area.  The weather was a bit overcast and it was chilly to be up on deck with the wind blowing.  After lunch time, I started to get my second wind.  I felt like I pretty much wasted the first part of this day, which was a shame.  After seven cruises, I’ve pretty much come to the conclusion that I should never take Dramamine, even if I do feel seasick. read more
