Disney Cruise

Our friend Derek Sasman (from Rope Drop Radio) went on the Disney Magic in February 2019, for a 4-Night Bermuda Cruise from Miami.  He stayed in room 8072, which is a Category 4B Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah.  It is located just forward of the aft elevators on the Port side of the ship on Deck 8.   The room holds five people.  read more

Disembarkation Day
Disembarkation Day

Our white board pretty much sums up this day.  Getting off the boat is never a fun day.  We always have so much fun on the cruises and it all comes crashing down on the morning that you have to leave.  We had decided to skip breakfast and get on the road as soon as possible.  Once they announced the ship was cleared, we headed off. read more

Castaway Cay Day
Castaway Cay Day

Today was Castaway Cay day, one of our favorite stops!  We had a lot of plans for the day and were eager to get started.  Nancy and our friends were going to run the Castaway Cay 5K and then head to one of the cabanas on Serenity Bay Beach, the adults only beach.  My older daughter was planning to spend the day with her new friends from Vibe.  My younger daughter and I were going to head to the family beach and then meet our friends for a jet ski excursion late in the day. read more

Sea Day
Sea Day

Today was our last sea day on our cruise.  We still hand one more day at Castaway Cay, but today was a day for relaxing.  We started the day off very late with breakfast at Cabanas.  After we ate, the girls went off to their clubs.  Nancy and I headed up to Satellite Falls to read and relax.  We were treated to a nice rainbow off in the distance! read more

St. Thomas Day
St. Thomas Day

Today was our stop at St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands.  We’ve been to St Thomas twice before, both on sailings on the Disney Fantasy.  The first time we were here, we went zip lining.  The second time, we had plans to go to St. John’s, but canceled our plans at the last minute and went for lunch instead.  This time, we had booked the “Secret Sands Beach Getaway“.  This included transportation to a local beach along with beach chairs!  read more

St. Maarten Day
St. Maarten Day

Today was our first port stop of the trip at the beautiful island of St. Maarten (or Saint Martin).  The last time we were on St. Maarten, we took a bus tour of the Dutch and French side.  This time, we decided on something much simpler.  We were planning on a self planned beach day.  We started the day off with a quick breakfast at Cabanas. read more
