This works great when there is a need for more plugs, but less USB devices, to keep charged. It doesn’t work so well for charging four cell phones, two kindles, and two iPads. Disney Cruise Line also might not permit this to be used on the cruise ship since they forbid power strips (we think this would qualify). <\/p>\n Eventually, we settled on the following solution:<\/p>\n This is the Anker 40 watt, 8 amp 5-port USB Charger Power Port<\/a>. It can charge up to five devices at one time. Since it uses a standard 110 volt plug, Disney doesn’t have a problem with it being used on board the ship. This allows us to keep all our devices charged up. When we purchased it, it was $23.99. We have used this over two cruises and lots of other trips as well.<\/p>\n There are multiple versions of these available, including ones with four or six ports. Amazon also offers an Amazon Basic version of these chargers, we purchased a six port version for use at home.
