Our white board pretty much sums up this day. Getting off the boat is never a fun day. We always have so much fun on the cruises and it all comes crashing down on the morning that you have to leave. We had decided to skip breakfast and get on the road as soon as possible. Once they announced the ship was cleared, we headed off.
Once we left the ship, we headed through to the US Customs line. After a quick check of our passports, we were on our way to the parking lot. We spent a few minutes getting the luggage settled and then we headed out towards 95 and the 13 hours trip home.
The trip home was uneventful. We even managed to get some pictures of South of the Border. Nancy and I stopped there once during a solo trips a few decades ago. We will never make that mistake again.
Our long trip to Walt Disney World and the cruise was now over. We got to use the last week of our annual passes as well as enjoy a week long cruise on the Disney Fantasy. It was a great end to the summer before another school year started up.
