Disney Cruise Line Castaway Cay Cabana 25

On a recent cruise on the Disney Dream, we were able to enjoy Cabana 25.  Cabana 25 is located on Serenity Bay, which is the adults only beach at Castaway Cay.  You can read our write up of making cabana reservation, amenities, and pictures of some other cabanas!

The Cabanas at Castaway Cay are open air cabins that are available to rent during the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM.  The Cabanas on the adult beach have a path that leads to them, but they share the adult beach with all the other passengers.  They come with unlimited drinks and snacks;  the use of snorkel equipment, floats, bike rentals, and beach toys; and a supply of sunscreen.  The adult cabanas include the first four guests and are $399.

In addition to the amenities described above, the Cabana rental provides you with other services.  The first is a Cabana host.  They will transport you via a golf cart around the island (mainly to get lunch or to a tram stop).  There are a ton of towels in the Cabana for your party to use that day, including cold washcloths in the mini-fridge for you to use when you want to cool off.  The snacks include chips and granola bars, fresh fruits, sodas, and water.  I’ve heard you can request certain sodas beforehand, but we’ve never done that.  The supply of sunscreen includes spray and lotion, and you can take it with you when you leave for the day.  The Cabanas also have sand toys you can use, as well as a huge number of rafts and floats.  Cabana guests can take advantage of one hour bicycle rental and also have use of snorkel equipment for the day.

In order to get to the adult cabanas, we took the tram to the Pelican Plunge tram stopped, then disembarked the tram to wait for another tram that would take us to Serenity Bay.

Once we arrived at Serenity Bay, we headed to the Cabana Check-In Shack.

We headed down the path next to the shack to get to our Cabana, number 25.

Cabana 25 does have steps that lead up to it, so it might not be the best choice for accessibility.

It shares the stairway with Cabana 26 (which is the blue on on the right).

Here you can see how close it is to Cabana 26.

The cabana has lots of inside seating as well as several loungers on the deck.

The deck has a sun screen on it with two loungers.

The Cabana is slightly separated from the beach, but it is about 20-25 feet to the beach.

The cabana has a fresh water shower as well as a private hammock right next to the stairs leading to the beach.

The cabana is stocked with drinks, snacks, a fruit tray (which we put in the fridge to keep the birds away from it), and lots of towels.  There is also a safe in the closet if you wish to secure any valuables.

At the end of the day, our cabana host gave us a golf cart ride all the way back to the ship, which topped off a great day.
