During a recent August 2018 sailing on the Disney Fantasy, we made a special trip to visit the Edge, the club for 11-14 year olds! We made sure to go during open house when anyone of any age can visit. Otherwise, the club is strictly limited to the 11 through 14 year old range.
During a recent August 2018 sailing on the Disney Fantasy, we made a special trip to visit the Vibe, the club for 14-17 year olds. We made sure to go during open house when anyone of any age can visit. Otherwise, the club is strictly limited to the 14 through 17 year olds.
During our recent August 2018 sailing on the Disney Fantasy, we made sure to visit both of the upscale coffee shops on board. The first is the Cove Cafe, located on Deck 11 forward in the adult section. It is located right beside the main adult pool. The Cove Cafe serves espresso drinks, with and without alcohol, for an additional charge (the drinks are not included in your cruise fare). I won’t say the complementary coffee served onboard the Disney ships is bad, but if you like strong coffee (or have an addiction to Starbucks type drinks), you will want to visit the Cove Cafe during your cruise at some point.
On a recent Summer 2018 cruise on the Disney Fantasy, we got to check out the Sweet on You Shop. The Sweet on You shop is located on Deck 11, Starboard (right) side, right outside of the Cabanas buffet restaurant. The shop sells a variety of treats for an additional costs above the cruise fare.
We recently went on the Disney Fantasy for a 7 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise (departure date August 11, 2018). We stayed in room 7170, which is a Category 7A Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Navigator’s Verandah. It is located on the port (left) aft (back) side of the ship on Deck 7. Here are our pictures of the room, including the obstructed verandah (which turned out to be fine)!
During a recent summer cruise on the Disney Fantasy, we went to check out the fitness center. The fitness center is located on Deck 11 all the way forward. You have to go through the Senses Spa to get to it. Use of the fitness center is included in the cost of your cruise. You can also use the showers and locker room as well if you need more space to get ready than is available in your stateroom. Note that you must be 18 years or older to use the fitness center.
