Palo on the Disney Fantasy
Palo on the Disney Fantasy

Disney describes Palo’s menu as classic Northern Italian cooking “with a modern twist.”  Palo serves brunch at a price of $45 per person (this fee is waived for Platinum Castaway Club Members and above).  The brunch consists of a la carte items (the previous buffet is currently not offered).  A version of Palo is found on all the Disney Cruise Line ships.  The Wonder and Magic have matching layouts and the Fantasy and Dream have matching layouts. read more

We recently went on a 5-Night Double Dip at Castaway Cay Sailing on the Disney Dream.  We stayed in Stateroom 7170 which is a Category 07A – Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Navigator’s Verandah located on Deck 7 Port (Left) side.  The verandah for the stateroom has an obstruction (metal) near the top. We were assigned this room because we selected a Guaranteed Rate Restricted Verandah Rate, which saved us about 30% off the price of the cruise. read more

During our recent 9 Night Southern Caribbean Cruise on the Disney Fantasy, we participated in the Mojito and Caipirinha Tasting.  The class is a chance to learn about the history of Mojitos and Caipirinha, including how they are made, and gives participants a chance to try five different types.  The class costs $25 per person (the price has since gone up) and the amount is charged to your room.  It is important to note that if you would like to do one of these tastings, you should sign up when you check in to your cruise or right away when you board the ship on the first day. read more
