Milkshake from Sweet on You

Our first stop once boarding the ship was Deck 11 to wait for the AquaDuck.  The AquaDuck is the water roller coaster that is on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream.  The girls had worn bathing suits under their clothes so they could get some rides on the AquaDuck before the ship got crowded.  We grabbed some chairs near the entrance and the girls headed off.  Nancy went off to take some pictures and I got something to drink.  After a few rides on the AquaDuck, we took turns getting some food from Cabanas.  Our youngest daughter decided to head to the Sweet on You Shop to see if they had milkshakes.  She came back with this: read more

We originally booked our 7 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise in August 2017.  We were looking at scheduling trips around our WDW Annual Passes that we had just activated.  While looking at dates, I noticed we would have some time between when school started and when our annual passes ended.  What better way to end the summer than with a trip to the Disney Parks and a Disney cruise?  read more

Our friends Doug (from Rope Drop Radio) and Michelle McKnight (our favorite travel agent) recently went on the Disney Dream for a 3-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral.  They stayed in room 6668, which is a Category 8D Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom.  It is located on the aft (rear) starboard (right)  side of the ship on Deck 6, behind the aft elevators.   The room has an enormous porthole window that you can actually sit in!  Some other features of the room include a round tub and a Murphy bed so you can sleep five in the room. read more

We were very excited to get on board the Disney Dream as this was our first time on the ship.  As they called our boarding group, we walked through the giant Mickey ears and had our Keys to the World cards swiped for the first time on this cruise.  We skipped the initial photo since we never buy the photos on board.  read more
