Our friend, Lauren Shields, recently went on the Disney Wish with her awesome family.  While on board, they visited the Teenage Club “Vibe” (Ages 14-17) and were kind enough to share pictures with us.  The Vibe is located on Deck 12 Starboard (right) side of the ship. read more

Vibe Teen Club
Vibe Teen Club

Here are our pictures of the Vibe teenage club (for ages 14-17) on the Disney Wonder from our Southern Caribbean Trip taken in January 2020.  It was updated in Fall 2019 to a more open feel.  We have previously discussed what the club looked like before the refurbishment.  The club is located in the central smokestack of the ship.  There is an elevator that goes directly into the club as well.

When you enter the club, immediately to the right of the entrance is a set of video games, as well as the ever present canister of hand wipes.

Looking to the front and left of the entrance, is the elevator that opens into the Vibe.  The counselors also have their profiles on a board for the cruisers to read.

The central part of the club is focused on the main television, with lots of comfortable seating surrounding it.

There is a room in the back as well, with a Guitar Hero machine in the entrance.

The back room is just a quieter place away from the noise of the central room.

To the front of the central room is a smoothie bar!  There is also a new coffee machine there for everyone to enjoy.

The front windows have been opened up so there is more light.  I believe the area in front is the concierge sun deck area.

Next to the bar is a small booth to sit and talk, or to enjoy a smoothie or coffee drink.

Overall, the club has been opened up and given a lighter feel.  If you would like to hear a teenager’s view on the available activities on the ship, my daughter has talked about the Vibe Club on Rope Drop Radio.

Here are our pictures of the Vibe teenage club for ages 14-17 on the Disney Magic from our Spring Break Trip in March 2018.  It was updated in March 2018 to an urban loft theme.  We have previously discussed what the club looked like before the refurbishment.  The club is located in the central smokestack of the ship.  There is an elevator that goes directly into the club as well.  My older daughter went to register while we took some pictures.

Here are some pictures of the main portion of the club:

There is also a back room to the club for watching TV or for smaller groups.

There is a smoothie bar in the front of the club, right near the window.

Near the entrance to Vibe is an activity schedule.  As our daughter said, ice breakers on the first night is definitely the one activity not to miss.  It is the time when friendships are the easiest to make and they will last the length of the cruise and beyond.

Vibe Club Direction Signs
Vibe Club Direction Signs

During a recent August 2018 sailing on the Disney Fantasy, we made a special trip to visit the Vibe, the club for 14-17 year olds. We made sure to go during open house when anyone of any age can visit.  Otherwise, the club is strictly limited to the 14 through 17 year olds.

The Vibe is located on Deck 5 all the way forward.  The entrance to the club can be found by going on the Deck 4 jogging track.  Head forward on the Port (left) side.  Eventually, you will go “inside” the superstructure of the ship in the front.

Right before you head across the ship from left to right, you will see the following sign near a staircase.

This is the staircase that will take you up to the Vibe.

The staircase will lead to this door and the hallway beyond.

Once you get past the hallway, you will see the registration desk.  I skipped taking a picture of the registration desk because my oldest daughter was in line registering and I was forbidden from acting like I knew her in front of the other kids.  I’m sure other parents of teenagers will understand.

Once you pass the registration desk on the left, you will see the smoothie bar.

The center of the main room is dominated by this circular seating area that surrounds a screen.  A lot of the group activities take place in this area.

The back of the main room is taken up with these “media” pods.  Cruisers can sit here and listen to music.

There is a back room to the club as well.  The room has additional seating around another screen as well as some foosball tables.

The last part of the club is the best part.  There is a door in the main room that leads to the Vibe sun deck.  The sun deck has lots of loungers and three small pools.

On the right side, there is another foosball table as well as some seating.

When we went during open house, the pools were closed off.

Here are the sun loungers.

Here is a view from the front of the ship looking back at the bridge.  You can see additional seating as well against the wall.

There is also a shower for rinsing off before and after using the pool.

The front area of the sun deck has a large number of seats around an open area.

Here are our pictures of the Vibe teenage club for ages 14-17 on the Disney Magic from our Very Merrytime Christmas cruise in December 2017.  The club was updated in March 2018 to an urban loft theme.

The club is located in the central smokestack of the ship.  There is an elevator that goes directly into the club as well.  The entryway has a few video games as well as whiteboards with the counselors’ bios and a schedule of activities.

The main area of the club is fairly open, including a central living room type area as well as a bar for coffee and smoothies.

You really can’t beat the view out of the window here either!

There is also a side area for video games as well.

Outside of the Vibe
Outside of the Vibe

During our trip on the Disney Dream in February 2017, we visited the Vibe Teenage club for ages 14-17.  My older daughter actually never ended up going other than to look around.  She thought a three night cruise was too short to make friends, then immediately began to regret it.  She definitely would go to ice breakers if we did another three night cruise.

The club on the Dream is located in the forward section of deck 5.  It has a really cool entrance corridor.

The main area of the club is a round seating area around a central television.

There are single seat booths that can be used to relax in.

There is a side area as well that has a foosball table as well as more seating.

The best part of the Vibe is the sun deck on the front of the ship with hot tubs and a pool just for the teenagers!  My daughter says this is one of the most heavily utilized areas of the club.  They all love hanging out here.
