Our friend Chris (@CHRIS_MAGIC_DCL) recently went on the Disney Wonder and stayed in the Walter E. Disney Royal Suite. The room is located on the port mid-ship side on Deck 8. The room holds seven people. He was kind enough to send us pictures of the recently refurbished suite!
It was the saddest day of the cruise, time to disembark the ship. Luckily for us, we had two more days of vacation left before we had to head home. We got up, drank some of our coffee that we ordered the night before, and then made sure our bags were ready. We had a late breakfast scheduled back in Tiana’s Place, where we’d had dinner the night before. We enjoyed one more look off our great balcony before heading to breakfast.
Day 5 of our cruise was the last full day of the cruise and our last port stop, this time at Ensenada. We had never visited Ensenada before, so everybody was looking forward to the visit. The Wonder docked at the main dock in the port, but it is about a mile or so from the main part of town.
Day four of our cruise was another glorious sea day. The girls eventually got moving out of the room, so Nancy and I decided to go to Triton’s to have brunch. Nancy enjoys breakfast and I prefer lunch, so it was the perfect meal for us. We probably spent an hour having brunch and talking, then we decided to head towards Promenade Lounge. We needed to kill some time before two of our favorite activities, Jack Jack’s Diaper Dash and the Character Dance Party. Luckily, Promenade Lounge was hosting Disney Cruise Line’s version of the Family Feud.
Our day in Cabo started with us waking up as the Wonder glided into the harbor. This was a new port for us, so we were excited to get off the ship and explore the town. We couldn’t see the famous arch of Cabo San Lucas but we figured we would get to see it when the ship left the port.
