During a recent August 2019 sailing on the Ovation of the Seas, we made a special trip to visit the Living Room, the club for 12-17 year olds. We made sure to go during open house when anyone of any age can visit. Otherwise, the club is strictly limited to 12 through 17 year olds.
The teenagers in the Living Room are broken into 12-14 year olds and 15-17 year olds. The Living Room is located on Deck 14 on the port side, just outside of the Windjammer buffet. Inside, there are foosball tables and plenty of various seating configurations.
The counselors attempt to organize the kids for activities, but our older daughter said she just hung out with the kids she met the first night during the icebreaker activities. They organized their own meet-ups and just did a lot of the activities that were available on the ship to anyone.
There are also some video game stations off on the left.
In the back of the club, there are some pods that you can hang out in, as well as another foosball table.
There are also a special theater area with lots of bean bags for relaxing during shows.
