I had the great privilege and honor to be invited on The DCL Dude podcast to discuss our recent Royal Caribbean cruise to Alaska onboard the Ovation of the Seas. Wes and I discussed our itinerary, some of the amenities on the ship, dining, and then did a comparison versus our August 2013 sailing on the Disney Wonder.

During our recent sailing on the Disney Wonder in April 2019, we got selected by the head pastry Chef Vivek (with the help of our favorite server) as his Magical Family of the voyage. Each night, Chef Vivek and the pastry team sent a special plate of dessert to our table to enjoy.
During a recent Spring Break cruise on the Disney Wonder, we went to check out the fitness center. The fitness center is located on Deck 9 all the way forward. You have to go through the Senses Spa to get to it. Use of the fitness center is included in the cost of your cruise. You can also use the showers and locker room as well if you need more space to get ready than is available in your stateroom. Note, you must be 18 years or older to use the fitness center.
